KVK Longding Participated in Prashashan Apke Dwar
KVK Longding took active participations in “PRASHASHAN APKE DWAR” organized by District Administration of Kanubari at Lawnu village, on 22nd Sept. 2018.
Subject Matter Specialist, KVK Longding, provide various advisory services on recent technology of Agri and Allied sector to farmers along with display of bio-fertilizer and bio-pesticides to augment crop productions.
Hon’bl MLA of Kanubari Constituency, Gabriel D Wangsu, while visiting in KVK stall room , exhorted that farmers need to be strengthen through adoptions of recent technology in Agri and allied sector and responsible for improvement of farming scenario is in the hand of Agri- Allied officers and KVK scientists. So that food grain production must be sufficient, enough to supply in market to fulfill the supply and demand gap in market. He also suggested the KVK officials to work in convergence mode with agri. and allied department.
He further advice the executing officers to encourage organic farming concept to farmers through vermicompost based fertilizer use for sustainable farming without much of inorganic fertilizer that pollutes the environment.
